Hello Weena,

Sept 2010: I came to Thailand to get away from it all and increase my sense of wellbeing. I have suffered many years with a bad back, & painful crunching knees (woos of modern life living) thus it had finally taken its toll on my body. I heard that Yoga was extremely beneficial for improving posture and increasing flexibility, so it was the perfect time to try it here. Weena came highly recommended through the ‘Life Change People’ & she is considered very well thought of in Chiang Mai. I felt instantly at ease from the moment I met with Weena. She understood my needs and went straight to work with me. She helped me to switch off my mind and relax (you will hear this word ‘Relax’ a lot!) more than I have ever done & in no time at all, I was doing yoga positions I never thought physically possible. At least not this early on however, Weena was incredibly encouraging and she made me feel that anything was possible, and it truly was. Since returning to the UK, I practice Yoga 3-4 times a week. There is a noticeable difference in the way I hold myself. I no longer have back pain nor do I feel pain or hear much crunching from my knees. I never dreamt I would feel anywhere near as great as I feel now. Weena you have made such a difference to my life & Yoga will stay with me for all my years to come. I cannot thank you enough for sharing your wisdom of Yoga with me.

Hi Weena,

I have had a couple of yoga classes with Weena at Yogasala and have really enjoyed them both. The class is one and a half hours and feels like a well-rounded session with some warm-up poses, sun salutation routines, balancing poses and relaxation. After the class I feel like I have worked hard and achieved something! Weena’s instruction is very helpful in both her demonstration of the poses and her careful attention in making sure each person has got it right. She made me feel very comfortable in the class, especially as I am relatively new to yoga.

Hi Weena,

I wanted to try out yoga whilst on holiday in Chiang Mai and was Weena was recommended as the best person to have sessions with. Initially I booked in 3 sessions as I was advised I would definitely see and feel a difference after 3 sessions. I have never done yoga before so went with the guidance. After the second session I had increased my booking to 6 sessions (all that time allowed)! I could not believe how much I had achieved in such a short space of time and how much I enjoyed the sessions. Weena encouraged me to push and challenge my body and I couldn’t believe what I was capable of and certainly would not have tried without Weena’s guidance and reassurance. Before I left Chiang Mai I felt fitter, I was slimmer, I was less tired, and my IBS symptoms had disappeared. I booked a course of yoga in the UK before leaving Thailand as I wanted to ensure I kept this up, small things like bing able to touch my toes easily and having photos of me doing a headstand for the first time in 20+years has made me feel so much better about myself and the yoga classes I have had at home have helped me maintain the serenity I found in Thailand. Without Weena I wouldn’t have any of this and will definitely be having more sessions with her when I am in Thailand next year

Well the first part of my yoga journey with Weena has come to an end. Having dabbled with Yoga at home following DVDs I decided last year to start classes. That is when I met Weena and I was immediately hooked. Back then I was awful, completely unfit and inflexible but loved every class all the same. Almost one year later and I’m still hooked. My body has grown stronger, fitter, more toned, and my mind is much calmer and clearer. For all this I thank Weena. She is a very unique lady and her love of yoga is completely contagious. She gave me challenges to help me along, encouragement when I needed it, technique to help me master poses and friendliness and sincerity that kept me coming back for more. Its been a great journey so far Weena and lots of fun. I can’t wait to continue when I get back again later in the year.

Dear Weena,

Having spent a little over 2 weeks in Chiang Mai and in that time having daily yoga private sessions with Weena, I cannot recommend it enough. Weena is a truly inspirational lady who has such a genuine passion for Yoga. She has a great ability to work with each person on an individual basis and quickly understand their body and mind and what she thinks they can achieve. I am amazed by the difference I’ve seen in just 2 weeks. I am already much stronger, more flexible and more relaxed. In fact Weena had me doing the headstand pose unaided within 10 days, I couldn’t touch my toes when I started! I will definitley be continuing yoga and plan to make it part of my day to day life. I have Weena to thank for this. I urge anyone who is interested in giving yoga a go or wanting to improve their ability to meet Weena you won’t regret it.
